Folk AS – our Human Rights policy

Purpose

Folk AS commits to respecting and promoting human rights, privacy, employee rights, and equal opportunities in all aspects of its business. This policy provides guidelines for acting in accordance with these principles.

Responsibility

All employees, managers, and partners at Folk AS are responsible for complying with this policy and contributing to a work culture that promotes human rights, privacy, employee rights, and equal opportunities. Respect for human rights and surroundings is an essential part of our corporate culture, both within our own company and in our supply and value chain.

We act in accordance with the following internationally applicable standards and frameworks:

■ The principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)

We also comply with all relevant legal requirements and binding sustainability obligations. This is regulated in our sustainability policy, which can be found on our website.

Our requirements for ourselves and for our partners

The standards and principles set out in the standards and frameworks listed are reflected in our own requirements for our employees, business partners and suppliers and form the basis of our daily actions:

We expect our employees and suppliers to comply with all stated standards and requirements, as well as comply with applicable laws. In addition, we expect our suppliers to comply with all stated standards.

Principles

We commit to the following principles:

This is how our work concerning human rights is directly or indirectly controlled:

Ongoing nonconformity reporting – Risk assessments – Internal audits of our procedures – Quality control – Supplier assessments – Reporting on equality and transparency – External audits of Folk AS at ISO and Revidert arbeidsgiver.

We are constantly developing our risk management, which is integrated into all relevant business processes. This enables us to identify and minimize human rights risks and prevent, terminate and reduce the extent of human rights violations. In addition, we continuously develop our internal processes to be able to respond to possible complaints and breaches in our value chain at an early stage.

Monitoring and Follow-Up

Any violations of this policy should be reported to management. We will take action to correct the situation and prevent recurrence.
