New rental rules from 1 April 2023 – what now?

Much is the same as before, also after 1 April 2023.

  • You can still employ temporary employees directly if necessary.
  • You can still hire as a substitute when you are sick, on leave, on vacation, or while waiting for a new person to take up a position.

On the other hand, the new rules limit the possibility of hiring in case of temporary need, if you do not have a collective agreement with a nationwide trade union and a valid agreement with union representatives.

  • If this is in place, you can still hire for projects and temporary positions, or for other time-limited positions.

Even if your business does not have a collective agreement, you yourself can hire temporarily – this is called hiring temporarily directly from the employer. The employment relationship is then only between you and the employee.

We can still help you find the skills you need:

  • We carry out the recruitment process from A-Z, and your business hires temporarily.

In summary:

We will continue to be your recruitment and staffing partner, and can still help you with the following needs:

  • Recruitment for permanent positions.
  • Recruitment for temporary direct employment with the customer
  • Hiring for temporary work – e.g. during illness, holiday processing and leaves of absence.
  • Hiring for projects and temporary positions or for other time-limited positions in companies that have a collective agreement, as well as a valid agreement with union representatives.
